Our Incredible Journey!
This is the family farm I grew up on and was a big part of my life for over thirty years. This farm has been in the Germain family for two generations.
I spent a lot of time on the hay mower shown in this photo. This photo was taken in my early twenties.

Our family has always supported Mike's real estate career at Re/Max.

This was how young our family was when we first heard about Mike needing a lung transplant.

Natalie was Mike's personal assistant and wheelchair driver in the clinics and hospital at the U of M.
Mike is in the ICU after his double-lung transplant surgery. He is sedated on life support for a few days after his surgery.
Mike was in the hospital only 11 days before transitioning home. He was so happy to come home.
Brittany and Natalie's confirmations were just a week apart in April. Mike was fortunate to be able to attend both celebrations.
It was a proud day for Mike and I as he was home just in time to see Gavin and Brittany off to prom.
Gavin's graduation was a true milestone for our family. It felt like we had made it through the worst of 2015 - Life was good!
The Aftermath
Gavin was off to college in the Fall of 2015 at Iowa State University. It was hard to say goodbye.
Such big smiles , family weekend at ISU. We were all so excited to visit Gavin at college.
